Self Portrait Linocut
I chose to do my dry point etching on this building because it was i didnt take a picture and i took this on the way to school as a last resort so i would have something to do for the project. I wish i could have became more prepared with a better image.
I chose to do my lenno cut of this picture of me because it was the only picture i had of me that i looked decent in and i liked the light and dark values in this picture. I wish i could have put in more detail to this because it didnt come out as clear as i wanted it to
I chose my topic of food when i was thinking of what i should do for my zine because i was hungry when I was brainstorming. I wish i could have used my class time more wisely so i could have made my zine more detailed so it would look better overall.
In my monoprint i chose to do those shapes because it was simple and easy. if i could do something different i would take more time on picking out different shapes.
I chose to do the design for my block print to be a repetition of triangles. I chose this because i like the way it looks if you repeat the same pattern into a shape. If i could do something different i would take more time carving the actual block so it has cleaner and smoother lines.
My group chose to do this design for our screen printing for some unknown reason. I liked the design of the guns and boots. If i could do something different i would chose a different design that would be more original.
